SleepTales is a bedtime-stories and sleep-sounds app. We built it to be private by default: no account, no sign-up, and no personal information.
We do not ask for your name, email, or phone number. We don't use advertising, third-party analytics, or tracking. The app works without an account.
To deliver stories and keep your place across app restarts, our server stores a small, anonymous record tied to a randomly generated device token:
The information above is used solely to (1) deliver story text, audio, and cover art, and (2) sync your favorites and listening progress to your device. We do not sell or share your data, and there is no data to sell โ it is anonymous.
Data is stored on our own server and transmitted over encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections. Downloaded audio for offline listening is cached on your device and can be removed at any time from within the app.
SleepTales includes stories intended for children, but it collects no personal information from anyone, including children. There is no account, no profile, no messaging, and no advertising. Because we do not knowingly collect personal data from children, there is nothing to disclose to or delete on behalf of a parent โ deleting the app removes the local data on the device.
The app is distributed through the Apple App Store; Apple may process data under its own privacy policy (for example, purchase and download records). We do not embed any third-party advertising or analytics services.
Deleting the app removes locally cached content and the device token from your device. To request deletion of the anonymous server-side record associated with your device, contact us at the address below and we will remove it.
If this policy changes, we will update the effective date above and post the revised version at this URL.
